Grand Hotel Riva, Riva del Garda

The hotel is situated right in the heart of Riva del Garda, making it a convenient choice for exploring the area. The room was initially not as expected, but the overall experience was slightly dampened by the last-minute change. The service was a mix of genuine hospitality and oversight in room assignments, leading to some inconvenience. The central location was a major plus, although additional charges for parking somewhat tainted the overall value for money.

I had a great stay at the hotel. The rooms were spacious with a view of the lake and mountains from my balcony, providing a peaceful contrast to the hustle and bustle outside. The staff, especially the Barman, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even getting us pizza and wine when we arrived late. However, some aspects of the service were inconsistent, and the lack of attention from certain staff members was noticeable.

The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of Riva and a stone's throw away from the lake. The dining experience offered breathtaking views, but the options were a bit lacking.
